4. tower of babel

For most of early mankind, people all spoke 🗣️the same language and could understand each other well. They decided to build 🏗️ a HUGE tower that would reach all the way up to the sky. 🗼They wanted to be super famous and show how strong 💪 and clever they were.
God saw what they were doing and thought they were becoming too proud. 🫵 He knew that if they could do this, they might think they didn't need Him anymore. 🤦♂️ So God made something unique happen… He made everyone start speaking different languages! Suddenly, nobody could understand each other. 🙉 Some people were speaking Spanish, some English, some French, and many other languages.
Because they couldn't talk to each other anymore, they couldn't work together to build the tall tower. 🤷🏼♀️The people got confused and spread out to different parts of the world. The big tower 🧱 was never finished, and the place became known as Babel, which means "confusion." 😕
