14. the exodus

Moses led all the Israelite families out of Egypt. 🇪🇬 They were excited 😆 but also a little scared. 😳 God did something wonderful to help them. He sent a giant pillar of cloud ☁️ during the day to show them which way to go. At night, that cloud turned into a pillar of fire 🔥 that glowed bright and kept them warm and safe.
Soon, they reached a big, big sea 🌊 called the Red Sea. Behind them, the Egyptian king 👑 had changed his mind! His army ⚔️ was coming with horses 🐎💨 and chariots, trying to catch them. The Israelites were scared 😱 and didn't know what to do.
But God had a miraculous plan! Moses lifted his special walking stick, 🏒 and suddenly the wind 🌬️ began to blow. The water 💦 started to move and split right in half! A huge path appeared right through the middle of the sea, 🌊 with walls of water on both sides.
The Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground! Can you imagine walking 🚶♀️🚶 through water with tall walls of sea on both sides? When all the people crossed safely, the water 🌊 came crashing back down on the Egyptian army.
Now they were free! Moses and the people traveled into the big, 🌵 sandy desert. 🏜️ God continued to take care of them, showing them the way and keeping them safe. They were on a big adventure to find their new home. 🏡
