There once lived a woman 🧍‍♀️ named Rahab who lived in a big city 🏙️ called Jericho. Her house was built right into the tall city wall, with windows 🪟 that looked out over the whole city. 🌃 Rahab wasn't like other people in Jericho - she was kind and wanted to do the right thing, even when it was hard.

One day, two spies 🕵️‍♂️ came to her house in Jericho. They were spies sent by Joshua of Israel, and they needed a safe place to hide. The king 👑 of the Jericho wanted to catch these spies, but Rahab knew they were good 👍 people. So she did something very brave - she hid the spies 🥸 on the roof of her house, 🏠 so no one would find them.

When people came looking 👀 for the spies, Rahab was smart 💡 and clever. She told them the travelers had already left the city. Because she was kind and helped these special travelers, she made a promise with them. They promised to keep her and her whole family safe 🔒 when something big was going to happen to the city.

The spies 🕵️‍♂️ gave Rahab a special red rope to hang from her window. 🪟 They told her, "When we come back, make sure this red rope is hanging outside. This will show us where you and your family are, and we will help you." 🪧 

God saw how kind 😊 Rahab was. She helped the spies when no one else would, and she believed in God's plan. 🙏 This favor would be returned to Rahab and her family really soon…
