12. plagues

God wanted Moses and his brother Aaron to help free the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt. 🇪🇬 Moses went to the king 👑 of Egypt, called Pharaoh, and said:
🎶 Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oh baby, let my people go! Huh! Yeah, yeah, yeah…
But, Pharaoh said no, no, no, and was very mean 😡 to the Jewish people. 😢
So God sent special warnings ⚠️ to Pharaoh called plagues. These were strange things that would happen to show Pharaoh how powerful 💪 God was. There was water 💧 turning into blood, 🩸 lots of frogs 🐸 everywhere, tiny bugs called gnats, 🦟 big bugs called flies, sick animals, 🦔 painful spots on people's skin, 😷 terrible storms with thunder ⛈️ and huge balls of ice 🧊 called hail, and even a day when everything was totally dark. 🌚
Each time a plague ☣️ happened, Moses would say, "Pharaoh, Pharaoh, oh baby, let my people go!”
But Pharaoh always responded no, no, no, no, no. 🚫 It would take one final plague for the Pharaoh to change his mind…
