The Apostle Paul couldn't easily 😅 visit all his friends and followers of Christ because they lived far away ✈️ in different cities. 🌃 So he picked up his pen 🖊️ and wrote beautiful, long letters 📝 to tell them about Jesus. Sometimes his friends were feeling sad 😔 or confused, 😕 and Paul's letters helped them feel better. ❤️🩹 He reminded them that Jesus loved 🥰 them very much.
Paul’s letters 🗒️ also included:
-
Teaching 👨🏼🏫 them how to be kind and share with each other 🤗
-
Reminding them that God is always with them, even when they feel scared 😱
-
Helping them solve problems, 🧮 like when friends have trouble getting along
-
Telling them exciting 😆 stories about Jesus and his miracles ✨
When Paul's letters ✉️ arrived, 📫 everyone in the church ⛪️ would gather together. Someone would read the letter out loud, and everyone would listen 🎧 carefully. The people were so happy 😁 to hear from their friend, the Apostle Paul.
Paul wrote lots of letters 📝 to different cities: 🌆
-
He wrote to his friends in Corinth, teaching them about love ❤️
-
He wrote to his friends in Philippi, telling them to be joyful 😀
-
He wrote to his friends in Ephesus about God's big family
-
He even wrote to his friends in Rome, a great 💪 and powerful city
Sometimes Paul wrote his letters ✉️ while he was in a dark prison, ⛓️ but he was still happy 😊 because he knew Jesus was with him. Even when things were hard, 😓 Paul kept telling people about God's love. 💕 He wrote so many letters that they fill up a big part of the Bible.
When we read 📖 Paul's letters 📝 today, it's like getting mail 💌 from a very wise friend who wants to help us know Jesus better. Just like Paul taught his friends to love ❤️ Jesus and be kind to others, his letters still teach us the same things today.
