60. nicodemus

There once lived an important teacher 👨🏼🏫 in Jerusalem named Nicodemus. He wore special robes 👘 and knew lots about God, but he still had questions 🙋♂️ in his heart. He heard about Jesus doing amazing things and wanted to learn 📝 more.
One night, 🌃 when everyone else was sleeping, 😴 Nicodemus walked through the quiet streets to have a conversation with Jesus. 💬 Jesus told him that to see God's kingdom, people need to be "born again." This confused 🤔 Nicodemus! He asked, "How can a grown-up be born again?"
Jesus explained that He wasn't talking about being born like a baby. 👶🏼 Instead, He meant that God's love 🫶 can make our hearts 💕 new and clean, 🧼 like starting fresh! It's like getting a brand new heart full of God's love. ❤️
Then Jesus shared the most wonderful promise ever. He said: "For God so loved 🥰 the world, 🌎 that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
This means that God loves ❤️ us SO much – even more than all the stars ✨ in the sky or all the fish 🐠 in the sea! He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to be our forever friend and to show us the way to live with God for all time.
Nicodemus listened 👂🏻 carefully to everything Jesus said. The Bible 📕 tells us that later, Nicodemus became very brave and showed everyone that he was Jesus's friend. He even helped take care of Jesus after He died on the cross, ✝️ showing how much he had learned about God's love. ❤️
